I am Artem - a software engineer and architect based in Amsterdam, who loves simple, fast and correct code, cutting-edge technology, books, music and sports. I’m a huge fan of functional programming and distributed systems.
I have over a decade of experience building and scaling engineering teams and systems. Currently, I am Director of Engineering at XITE, working on a personalized music television service - building synergy between engineering teams, designing and developing the core backend platform, cloud infrastructure and many other exciting things.
On the side, I also work as an independent software architect consultant, helping startups and scale-ups with technical strategy, architecture reviews, and engineering team building.
